Watch the roads people

So I was driving home today and I drove past 7 accidents, 7! Keep in mind it was barely snowing, I would not even call it flurries. But since it was the first time this year we had any snow, people panicked. I even witnessed a lady break at a stop sign, lose control, or go up on the curb nearly hitting the stop sign.

People, drive a little slower, stop talking on the phone, and just get home and lock your doors. It's only snow. If this is any sign of things to come, it will probably be an even more frustrating winter than last year. Oh joy! Mother Nature, you are already on notice!

there was about a 30 minute backup at layton & 76 on my way home from work today. since it was moving so slow on 76 people going through the intersection when the light changed would just keep sitting in the intersection blocking everybody. then everyone would beep their horns. unfortunately the magic horns failed to get the traffic moving again.

That is one of my top ten pep peeves (blog coming soon). When people think they are in such a hurry that they sit in the intersection so cross-traffic can't go. It is technically against the law, I would love to see cops start giving out tickets.

When I left yesterday at 430, the roads were fine. When I got home, the TV told me that there were a lot of accidents due to the weather. THey even showed a camera on the freeway near bayshore. The pavement looked dry to me.

After having a conversation with my ex-wife, everything looks dry to you.
