Bush vs. Batman

Here is an interesting article from the Wall Street Journal that is actually comparing George W. Bush to Batman.

What? I have yet to see Bush propel down a building, use goofy gadgets, or punch out a bad guy. I think this analogy is a bit of a stretch. Bush terrorized the whole world and is responsible for millions of lives, Batman restricted his terror to Gotham.

Lame Duck

"President" Bush has officially given up what people think about what he says. At last week's G-8 Summit in Japan about the state of the environment, Bush made fun of the fact that America is horrible to the environment. The sad thing is that we are the world's worst polluters. Here is Stephen Colbert doing a humorous take on the how Bush will approach his last 180 days in office.

Who's to blame?

So apparently W Bush has the lowest appproval rating of any president ever. That's just too sad. His approval rating is lower than the two Presidents impeached, the one removed from office, lower than presidents during the depression, the 2 world wars, the Vietnam War, the Korean Conflict, slavery, and all these rough times in America's young history. I would say that the American public is to blame, but W did not even get the majority vote in either election, he just had the electoral votes. I blame the constitutional congress. (And the idiotic residents of Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004).

Spring Break!!

Spring Break is almost here, and just in time President Bush has vetoed some important legislation. Apparently some anti-fun lobbyists wanted to ban waterboarding for everyone.

Why would anyone want to stop people from being able to do that, especially with Spring Break right around the corner? Oh wait, that is wake boarding. My bad......apparently waterboarding is something totally different. Let me do some research on it before I rant further on this veto.
