Great Career Move

Every so often its great to watch someone make a ridiculous career move and leave a TV show that is successful for a shot a stardom (think Shelley Long on Cheers or David Caruso on NYPD Blue). I couldn't sleep the other night (being covered in blood will do that) so I turned on the late night idiot box to see what state late night talk shows were in. I had forgotten that Craig Kilbourn used to host the Late Late Show before this Mr. Wick guy from the Drew Carey SHow. I remembered reading that Kilbourn left to focus on his movie career. Lets look at his movie career since 2002: The Shaggy Dog (led by Tim Allen), The Benchwarmers (A Rob Schneider vehicle) and now Full of It (which is led by some kid who was on the second season of Punk'd).

Craig Kilbourn has officially derailed. Remember when he used to do the Daily SHow and it was hilarious back then. Remember 5 Questions? Remember when he was on SPorts Center and was funny. Now he is playing second fiddle to some jackass from Punk'd.

Don't forget his supporting role in 'Old School'

I miss the old late late show, with the ongoing saga of his stolen liberace book.

The daily show was truly a bad ass program when Kilby was on it. And who can forget Bill Murrey making a perfect manhattan for the late late show, or the monkeys banging. Now thats humor.
