So by now I am sure all you regulars of the blog-o-sphere have seen this video of Jesse Jackson commenting on Barack Obama.
What I find sad is Jesse Jackson's response to it and his attempt at excusing his words. In that second half of that video Jesse Jackson makes no logical sense at all. He is one of the many national figures who are professionals at talking a lot and saying nothing. He then goes on to say that he did not know that the mic was on when he said that. So that makes it okay to say whatever you want about someone, as long as the microphone is not on? I don't think he ever officially apoligizes, just says that is was a "private conversation" that was picked up by the mic.
Here's our fearless leader making the same mistake of not knowing that his mic was on.

CNN needs a new sound guy, they don't realize that some reporter's mic is on for 90 seconds while they are airing a live speech from our fearless leader.

To stay safe I assume my microphone is always on and watch what I say always. Here's a little story from Fox News that I think is a bit of a stretch but......
