Some perspective

Finally a professional athlete with some perspective:

Gilbert Arenas signed a new contract in the NBA to stay with the same team, and he actually signed for less than they even offered him.
"'What can I do for my family with $127 million that I can’t
do with $111 million?' he told The Washington Post."

Don't get me wrong, the NBA is still dead to me and $111 million is still an obscene amount of money to pay any athlete, but it is interesting to see someone on the receiving end of all that money know how obscene that amount of money is. I don't think this will start a trend, but it would be nice if it did.
