Movie Review

I just went to see Bourne Ultimatum tonight at the Multiplex. I like these movies, they mix a good amount of action with some good acting and an interesting spy/assassin storyline. I know that Snow.man doesn't care for the movies because he says the books are better. Well, I go to the movies to see and hear a story, not to read one. And some of us can't read (edgrimley).

I read a review of the movie after it came out that it wasn't very good, there was too much action and not enough story or character development. Its an action movie people, there is supposed to be action. You don't complain that Poltergeist or Saw is too scary, Star Wars is too Sci-Fi, Dumb and Dumber is too funny. We go to action movies to escape and see some fight scenes and car chases. Plus this is the third movie in the trilogy, all the characters have been developed already, now we get to see them fight.

This third installment starts with a fight scene and within 15 minutes there is a car chase. This continues for the 2 hours . Throughout it all there still is a storyline. You learn about the beginnings of the spy program that created Jason Bourne and see him attempt to get revenge.
