I just ran (drove) to Miller Park to get a few tickets for a Brewer game for some friends from out of town. Went there my usually way, parked, and walked over to the usual ticket window. There was only one window opened on this side of the ballpark, but felt that that was normal because it was 1:30 on a Friday. However, there was quiet the long line, probably about 9-10 people deep. Oh well, probably just a lot of people off today going to buy tickets. I wait in line for about 15 minutes when a gentleman about 4 in front of me approaches the window asking about tickets, and the lady says that this line is for employees only, coming to pick up their checks.
WTF? Why is there a giant sign hanging there that says "Tickets?" Maybe that might be telling everyone that this is where you can buy tickets. In fact I bought tickets there three weeks ago, at that exact same window. Maybe they could have put up a sign that said this window is for employees picking up their checks? It turns out I had to walk to the other side of Miller Park and get tickets, luckily their was no line.
Going to Chicago this weekend, so I am sure I will come back with plenty to rant about.
